WJ RFID Reader

Multi-Protocol MPR 5000 RFID Card
EPC Class 0/1 and 0+ with Integral UHF Antenna
Firmware Upgrade (UHF G2 & Others)

WJ’s MPR 5000 RFID Card takes the mystery out of RFID. It’s simple to use and works with any standard PCMCIA Type II slot—as found on most laptop computers and many handheld computers and PDAs.

It offers all the breakthrough performance of the MPR 6000 and includes an integrated antenna. This reader card is ideal for software developers and anyone wanting to experiment with RFID technology.

Each RFID Card includes the analog RF, digital circuitry and embedded firmware required for EPC Class 0 (read only), EPC Class 1 (read/write) and Class 0+ (read/write) operation. Plug it into any PC Card™ socket, load the driver and operate it via a WJ GUI program. The standard PCMCIA control interface coupled with a simple but powerful command set allows for fast creation of custom API and host applications.

The integral antenna provides a platform for software and system development for anyone wanting to read/program tags and experiment with RFID technology. The MPR 5000 is easy to use, affordable and allows reading tags anywhere.
